One of the three officers slain in the Burnsville shooting that shook Minnesota over the weekend was Adam Finseth of Rochester, Minnesota.
Along with Adam Finseth, two other police officers, Paul Elmstrand and Matthew Ruge, also perished in the shooting.

Tragically, paramedic Adam Finseth perished in the shooting in Burnsville, Minnesota.
Adam had been working as a firefighter/paramedic since 2019 and was 40 years old.
Due to his commitment and vital role in emergency response, Finseth was also assigned to a SWAT unit.
Adam was one of three officers slain on Sunday, February 18, 2024, in the Burnsville shooting, which was carried out by Shannon Gooden.

Paramedic firefighters Adam Finseth, 40, was shot in the right arm and body and later declared dead at the hospital at 6:46 a.m. As Finseth, a member of the SWAT team, was administering first aid to another wounded cop, he was shot.
