In another sad news, Faleye Olushola, Herbert Wigwe’s special assistant, narrowly avoided death on Friday night, February 9, in the tragic helicopter accident that killed his boss, wife, and son.

Remember that the CEO of Access Holdings Plc, his wife, Chizoba, and son were killed when their helicopter crashed in California, United States.

They were on their way to Las Vegas when the tragic incident occurred near the Nevada-California border on Friday night, February 9, 2024.

Olushola, whose name was on the manifest, avoided death by choosing to travel by road rather than boarding the unfortunate flight.

ThisDay claims that Olushola traveled from London, United Kingdom to Palm Springs, California, by plane with Wigwe, his wife, son, and former Group Chairman of Nigerian Exchange Group Plc (NGX Group), Abimbola Ogunbanjo.

However, when Olushola arrived in Palm Springs, he declined to board the ill-fated flight to Boulder City, Nevada, saying that he would not fly by helicopter at night owing to the weather conditions.

He was alleged to have chosen to travel to Boulder City by car, avoiding the flying disaster that took the lives of four others.
