‘Age Isn’t A Representation’ – Wizkid Throws Subtle Shade At Mr. Jollof Over Proposed Tour With Davido

Wizkid, the award-winning Nigerian afrobeat artist, has hit back against comedian Freedom Atsepoyi, also known as Mr Jollof, for his remarks following the singer's offer to hold a world tour with his colleague, Davido.

This drama began when Wizkid hinted at a tour cooperation with Davido.

On his verified Instagram, Wizkid wrote in his story, “After my ‘MLLE (More Love, Less Ego)' tour!! Davido and I going on tour! Save your coins! I no wan hear pim”.

Mr. Jollof responded by saying that Wizkid should not have made the announcement now as their supporters had been anticipating it for more than ten years.

“Na now day break? @Wizkidayo.

“You going on a tour at this point with Davido is not right. It seems like you are riding on his relevance.

Reacting to the development, Wizkid uploaded a picture of his children with the comment on Snapchat, “Ladies, if your man is out here begging to feed you and your family, make sure he washes your pant, bra and plates since he is your house help.

Meanwhile, the remark irritated Mr Jollof, who defined his connection with Wizkid as mutual and nothing more, asking, “Have I begged you for money before?”

A few hours later, he released another video berating Wizkid for bringing up his family in conversation, saying that he is a responsible man who takes care of his home on his own.

“Wizkid has never done anything for me before. When he promised to give me money, he failed and doesn't reply to my DM aftermath.

“When I engaged my wife in Dubai, he didn't do anything to assist me yet he comes out to call people poor.

“I've helped his career more. To the world, Wizkid helped me but I helped him more. I promoted to become the super star he is now.

“Wizkid is not a man,” he ranted.

Wizkid has decided to throw yet another subtle jab at Mr. Jollof.

Wizkid posted on his Instagram stories, “Age isn't a representation of how brilliant you are. “I know a lot of foolish adults.”
