Marriage is arguably the most important event in a person’s life, thus everyone wants to have a wedding that will be remembered fondly. So, everyone puts a lot of effort into planning the ideal wedding, but can anyone claim that the President of the United States attended my wedding? – Most likely not.
Alex Wagner, a journalist for MSNBC, witnessed it, though. The wedding of the host of the formerly airing program “Now with Alex Wagner” was one to remember after Barrack Obama and his entire family paid a visit. If you’re wondering how her husband is to blame.

On the evening of August 30, 2014, Alex Wagner wed Sam Kass at Blue Hill at Stone Barns outside of New York City. Sam Kass is another well-known person, most known for his professional relationship with Barack Obama and his family as a chef, but he has won their favor over time. Despite having a famous guest on the list, hopefully, there were cameras on them as well. Here is a photo of their wedding that was shared on Twitter by a fan of hers.

When President Obama (then) and his family attended the wedding, it became even more noteworthy. Although he had been planning to attend Wagner and Kass’s wedding, his attendance wasn’t confirmed until around seven o’clock that evening. Sasha and Malia Obama, the First Lady’s daughters, and Michelle Obama were with him.

The entire family was seen leaving the plane wearing all black clothing. The ceremony was held at Blue Hill at Stone Barns, a popular location in the Hudson Valley that doubles as a restaurant and a working farm. Here is the image that CBS News shared on Twitter of the First Family departing the wedding.
