Information reaching Vimbuzz is that Mawuli Younggod has been arrested by the police for scamming some event organizers of Ghc5,000 and failing to appear for a show he was booked and paid for.
Younggod was paid to appear on a show organized by Konami Boyz in Mepe on January 1, 2022, but failed to show up after receiving the amount he charged.
The Konami Boyz who were the organizers of the show “Catch The Wave Pool Party” through their source closer to us, revealed that Mawuli charged to take GH₵5,000, which they paid him.
According to the news, the organizers first sent a payment of GH₵4,000 to Mawuli Younggod through Samuel Dzorkpe, who was his agent.
They then followed it up with the last payment of GH₵1,000 directly to Mawuli Younggod making it full payment.
Mawuli Younggod after collecting the said money failed to show up at the venue for the program which was Mepe Royal Masito Palace on January 1, 2021.
He also declined to pick the organizer’s call forcing them to report him to the Aveyime Police who were seriously looking for him.
We were told when the Aveyime Police Station, North Tongu District – called Mawuli Younggod, he promised the police to report himself on Monday, January 10, 2022, which he didn’t. He was eventually nabbed during a show he attended closer to the town by the organizers and handed over to the police.
He is at the time feeling super hot.
