Andy Fletcher, Depeche Mode Founding Member, Dead At 60

Andy Fletcher, an establishing individual from Depeche Mode, has passed on, the band reported Thursday on Twitter. He was 60.

“We are stunned and loaded up with overpowering bitterness with the inauspicious passing of our dear companion, relative, and bandmate Andy ‘Fletch’ Fletcher,” the band composed of the late keyboardist. “Fletch had a genuine kind nature and was consistently there when you really wanted help, an enthusiastic discussion, a decent giggle, or a chilly 16 ounces.”

 

“Our hearts are with his family, and we ask that you keep them in your viewpoints and regard their protection in this troublesome time,” the band finished up.

Depeche Mode which was framed by Fletcher, Dave Gahan, Martin Gore and Vince Clarke, delivered its presentation collection, Speak and Spell, in 1981.

 

Clarke left the band after Speak and Spell’s delivery, however the other three individuals kept on making music together. Their latest collection was Spirit, which emerged .
Fletcher, a five-time GRAMMY chosen one with Depeche Mode, was drafted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, close by Gahan and Gore, in 2020.
