Sylvester Enzio Stallone who was born on the 6th of July 1946 is known as an American actor who doubles as a filmmaker. After his outsets as a struggling actor for a couple of years upon arriving in New York City in the year 1969 and later Hollywood in the year 1974, he got his first ever critical acclaim as an actor for his co-starring portrayal as Stanley Rosiello in The Lords of Flatbush.

Stallone thereafter found incremental work as an extra or side character in movies with a big budget until he attained his greatest critical and commercial success as an actor and screenwriter, starting in the year 1976 with his role as boxer Rocky Balboa, in the first film of the successful Rocky series from the year 1976 to the present for which he also penned down the screenplays.

In the films, Rocky played as an underdog boxer who fights several brutal opponents and wins the world heavyweight championship twice.

Stallone and Jackie Chan are known to have been good friends for several years, but have never worked concurrently on a film aside from appearances in the famous 1997 comedy titled ‘Burn Hollywood Burn’.
