Folarin Balogun has given Arsenal till the end of the current season to either sign him permanently or sell him, and he has rejected any more loan offers from outside the club.

The 21-year-old striker, who was on loan at Stade de Reims, had an outstanding season, scoring 21 goals in Ligue 1.

With Gabriel Jesus and Eddie Nketiah also vying for the No. 9 spot, Arsenal may aim to capitalize on Balogun’s success to help bankroll their pursuit of other targets.

In addition, Balogun, whose contract has two years left to run, wants an answer on his future because he doesn’t want to take another loan.

After scoring his first goal for the USA in their victory over Canada in the Concacaf Nations League final on Sunday night, he expressed his stance on future loan moves, saying, “What I can say is that I definitely won’t go on loan again.”

Regarding upcoming discussions and the uncertainty surrounding his future, he added, “I’m not sure what’s going to happen. But I’m just committed to now, I try to stay present. I obviously want to enjoy the moment with my team and my family.”

Balogun, who previously had a loan spell with Middlesbrough, developed through Arsenal’s academy and has accumulated 10 appearances for their first team, primarily featuring in cup competitions.
