Austin Butler Was ‘Rushed to the Hospital’ Day After Wrapping ‘Elvis,’ Says His Body ‘Shut Down’

Austin Butler changed into Elvis Presley for Baz Luhrmann’s impending biopic, yet as the entertainer uncovered to GQ, it appears to be his body had enough.

Yet again days after the fact, Austin presented with Priscilla on the honorary pathway at the 2022 Met Gala, where she spouted over the film.

“I love the film,” she said during an honorary pathway interview for Vogue. “I think the youthful age will see and know what’s truly going on with Elvis, and gain proficiency with somewhat more about him.”


For Austin, the main piece of the film was “making every one individual who cherished Elvis so much pleased and doing [him] equity,” he said in a Vogue interview.

“I just set off on a mission to find his humankind however much I could,” Austin said, “and bring that out with as much life as possible.”
