Nigerian-American singer, songwriter, and record producer David Adedeji Adeleke, better known by his stage name Davido, was born on November 21, 1992. His music combines regional African themes with contemporary culture on a worldwide scale.
Davido released “Dami Duro,” the second single from his debut studio album Omo Baba Olowo, in 2012 and went on to win the Next Rated award at The Headies (2012).
He put out a succession of popular singles between 2013 and 2015, and in January 2016 he agreed to a record deal with Sony Music.
