Music critics gave it mainly unfavorable reviews and criticized Davido's songwriting and the lyrical themes. The album was nominated for Album of the Year and won Best R&B/Pop Album at the 2013 Headies. Additionally, it was a nominee for the 2013 Nigeria Entertainment Awards' Best Album of the Year category.
