Robert Norman Ross well known as Bob Ross was born in 1944, in Daytona Beach, Florida.

He assisted as an astronaut during World War II. An American painter, TV host and painting teacher who came out on PBS television series called The Joy of Painting from 1984 to 94 many years.

He passed away on July 4, 1995, in New Smyrna Beach, Florida. Steve Ross and Jimmi Cox are his sons.

Steve Ross and his half-brother called Jimmi Cox became the beneficiaries of Bob Ross’s estate and other intellectual property rights left in his will when he passed away in 2011.

His siblings are Bob and Jim Ross.

Bob Ross was born to his parents. His father is Jack Ross who is a carpenter and his mother Ollie Ross who is a waitress by profession.

He grew up in Orlando, Florida, and made Ross’s debut in Daytona Beach.

Ross was brought up in the workshop as rejected in school because his father, a carpenter was always there for him. Although he didn’t disclose what his early years were like publicly, Ross is believed to have worked as the assistant of his father.
