American PGA Tour professional golfer was born on May 3, 1990. After winning the 2018 CJ Cup, he rose to the top spot in the Official World Golf Ranking in October 2018 and held that position for 47 weeks. He became the first golfer in history to simultaneously hold back-to-back titles in both the U.S. Open and the PGA Championship after winning both events in 2017 and 2018. He began competing on the European Challenge Tour before moving on to the European Tour. At Florida State University, he participated in college golf.


At the 2017 U.S. Open in Erin Hills, Wisconsin, Koepka won his first major title. The first golfer to win back-to-back U.S. Opens since Curtis Strange in 1988 and 1989, he successfully defended his title in 2018 at Shinnecock Hills on Long Island. He shot a major championship record-tying 264 over 72 holes to win his third major in the 2018 PGA Championship at Bellerive Country Club.
