Hollywood movie producer, Carl Craig is dead. He was the father of popular star, Jordan Craig — she is the original baby mama of basketball player, Tristan Thompson.
Carl Craig during his lifetime was the brain behind movies such as Mo’ Money and House Party 3. He was also behind TV shows such as Real Husbands of Hollywood and The Bobby Brown Story.
He died over the weekend. Reports indicate that he passed away suddenly. As of now, the cause of his death has not been established.
On Thursday, Jordan Craig took to Instagram to mourn his death.
Sharing photos of her father, she wrote:
“Still don’t know where to start. 💔 Every single day, the hardest thing for me to do is wake up and face this new reality. I just don’t know if or when I will ever be able to gather myself to accept this, much less write in past tense about you.💔 You are the GREATEST example of a Man- The Perfect Husband of 38yrs, Girl Dad of 3, Brother of 6, Friend & Colleague to so many.
Growing up, all of my peers thought of you as their father figure…that’s how dedicated you were to being the perfect example of a Father and I know I am the luckiest girl in the world to have you as my own! Today, although my pain cuts so incredibly deep, I can only be thankful that throughout my life, you’ve properly prepared me for this time.
Without a doubt, you have given me all of the tools, wisdom and knowledge I need to make it in this world on my own. So many people always ask me how I’m able to gracefully get through situations they deem to be unfathomable… it’s because of YOU, your full guidance and constant positivity. Now, it’s only right that no matter how sad I am, I continue to follow in your footsteps…”remain calm”, “find the silver lining even in the toughest situations,” and continue to trust in Jehovah.
