Fans of the rapper Cassper Nyovest are impatiently anticipating his impending seventh studio album. The rapper has been active but has let it be known that he is working on a hip hop album.

He tweeted, “This album is perfect.”

“I might not drop a single. I might just drop the whole project so it’s received in context.”

The rapper responded by saying he had finished recording but needed to respect a campaign record when a fan asked him to release the tune because they were “starving.”

“We almost there. I’m done recording already. I just got this campaign record I have to respect and then we all systems go,” he tweeted.

Nyovest had previously announced that he will be collaborating on a song with lead vocalist of OneRepublic and multiple Grammy Award–winning songwriter Ryan Tedder as part of the second year of Sprite’s worldwide music initiative, Sprite Limelight.

Nyovest stated to one Twitter user that he was sick of waiting for the album to come out and that he was on the verge of breaking his contract but opted to trust the system instead.

“Trust me, I’m also tired of waiting. I almost breached my contract and just dropped cause I’m so excited to share the music but I decided to calm down and trust the process.”

The approaching sample clearance, which he absolutely needs, prevented Nyovest from sharing an album release date with his fans.

“I can’t choose a date without clearing this one sample. I really need that sample, the album wouldn’t be complete without it. Crossing fingers it’s soon.”
