Azeez Fashola, alias Naira Marley, and Lagos socialite Balogun Eletu, aka Sam Larry, have been remanded in custody in connection with the death of late artist Mohbad.

The two must remain in police detention, according to a ruling made on Wednesday by a magistrate court in Lagos State’s Yaba neighbourhood.

Fashola and Eletu were ordered to remain in custody for 30 days while their investigation was ongoing at the request of the Lagos State Police Command.

Magistrate Adeola Olatunbosun, in contrast, denied the police’s motion and determined that Fashola and the others should only be held for the next 21 days.

Recall that Naira Marley arrived back in the nation yesterday and was apprehended by police.
