David Keith McCallum was a Scottish actor and musician, he was born September 19, 1933 in Glasgow, Scotland. David McCallum, the second son of orchestral violinist David McCallum and Dorothy a cellist. David McCallum attended University College School with a scholarship in Hampstead, London, at the age 13 in 1946, David McCallum began doing boy voices for BBC.

David McCallum was encouraged by his parent to get ready to start a career in music. He took a role as Oberon in an open-air production of A Midsummer Night’s Dream with the Play and Pageant Union. David McCallum left school David McCallum joined the British Army’s 3rd Battalion the Middlesex Regiment, in march 1954 he got a promotion to Lieutenant.

After serving in the army David McCallum attended the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art in London, from there his acting career began. David McCallum gained international popularity for his role in some iconic movies such as Dr. Donald “Ducky” Mallard in NCIS, Illya Kuryakin in the movie The Man from U.N.C.L.E and many more.

David McCallum married Jill Ireland in 1957 and divorced in 1967, he got married again in 1967 to Katherine Carpenter. David McCallum lived a long and fruitful life but he sadly passed away on 25th September, 2023 in New York-Presbyterian Hospital at the age of 90 years

Katherine Carpenter worked as an actress and model, she pursued a career as an interior designer, David McCallum said she was more talented than he was. The couple have been married for 56 years(1967-2023), they both had two beautiful children(Sophie McCallum and Peter McCallum).
