Nigerian controversial musician, Habeeb Okikiola, better known as Portable claimed that Nigerian megastar Davido promised to give him a verse in one of his songs.
Portable made such a disclosure during an interview, where he also urged Nigerian musicians like Davido, Wizkid, and Burna Boy who are now global artists to help upcoming artists and artists who are only recognized locally.
He advised that life should not be about posting cars or the latest accessories they acquired but they should also share the music of the local musicians so they can also be recognized globally. That way, they will have it in mind that they are helping others grow.
He refused to agree that he has reached the level that he no longer needs help to gain recognition. He said he needs help from the big artists to further boost his music career. Portable is still patiently waiting for the moment he will get the verse Davido promised him.
