Amaju Pinnick, a former NFF president and member of the FIFA Organising Committee, publicly chastised Nigerian music sensation David Adeleke, better known by his stage name Davido, for failing to perform at his event “Warri Again” despite receiving a sizable payment of $94,600.

In a video that has since gone viral, Pinnick openly expressed his disappointment about the superstar’s cancellation of the event on Friday, October 6.

The well-known man lambasted the artist on stage, pointing out that he had paid a whopping $94,600 for his appearance at the event.

He further emphasized the booking of a chartered plane to carry Davido and his entourage to the state, emphasizing that payment was made as early as April 6th, 2023.

Pinnick lamented Davido’s disrespect for the city of Warri by remaining silent after receiving such a hefty payment for his performance.

In addition, he disparaged Davido for having an inflated ego and compared him unfavorably to Burna Boy in terms of Davido’s status in the music industry.

Pinnick went on to add that Buzzing Rapper Shallipopi ultimately replaced him as the main draw.
