Spanish professional tennis player Alejandro Davidovich Fokina was born on June 5, 1999, in Málaga, Spain.

Davidovich Fokina, as he is generally known, has a career-high ATP singles ranking of World No. 32 achieved on August 30, 2021, and a career-high doubles ranking of World No. 213 achieved on May 17, 2021.

Fokina started playing tennis with his father when he was three years old until he turned five.

He subsequently began training at Calaflores and later Serramar tennis courts with coach Manolo Rubiales. Jorge Aguirre became his coach which he has been since 2009.

Having become a professional in 2016, Davidovich Fokina was earlier a Spanish Champion at U12, U15, and U18 levels.

He recorded the biggest victory of his career by defeating world number 1 Novak Djokovic in the second round at the Monte Carlo Masters.
