Dele Momodu Has Been Granted Honorary Citizenship In Georgia, USA.

Aybámidélé báym Ojtelégàn Momodu, a veteran Nigerian journalist and publisher, has been granted honorary citizenship of Georgia in the United States of America.
Momodu took to Instagram to share a photo of the certificate, which described him as an outstanding citizen who will be treated with the utmost respect as a Goodwill Ambassador from Georgia in his travels to other states, and nations beyond the borders of the United States of America, or wherever he may hereafter travel or reside.
In his caption, he expressed gratitude to the state for the kind gesture. “Though I was unable to personally accept this honor in Atlanta, Georgia, I most sincerely appreciate the thoughtfulness and kind gestures behind it,” he wrote.
Honorary citizenship is a distinction bestowed by a city or other government on a foreign or native individual deemed especially admirable or otherwise deserving of the honor.
