American rapper and songwriter, Sean Love Combs, also known as Diddy has earned himself one of the biggest honors at the BET awards for building one of hip-hop’s biggest empires – from his own music television network to a fashion line.
The rapper is set to be given the Lifetime Achievement award at this year’s edition of the Black Entertainment Television coming up this month on June 26.

Diddy, 52, is the founder of Bad Boy Records with 3 Grammys. He has worked with some of the biggest names in the music industry including Usher, Lil Kim, Faith Evans, Notorious B.I.G., Mary J. Blige, and the R&B group 112.
The hitmaker also has in his brand, his own vodka, a fashion line called Sean John, and his TV network, Revolt TV which is purely focused on music. Diddy is also known for producing the reality show ‘Making The Band’ for MTV.
“Diddy has always been a pioneering force in our community, breaking barriers, achieving unprecedented heights, blazing new trails, and, in so doing, raising the bar for all of us,” BET CEO Scott Mills said in a statement.
