South African actor Dingaan Khumalo popularly known as James Motsamai in the Soapie Muvhango has decided to switch to music and his decision is currently being criticized.
Dingaan Khumalo has been playing the role of James for 18 years but turned to switch lanes to do music. His decision was announced some years back when he stated that he would be venturing into Ampiano. Dingaan Khumalo also stated that he will always be an actor but will take his music career very seriously.
In December 2020, Dingaan Khumalo released his debut single, Gabadiya but has not gotten the reception he hoped for. His other single, Homeground also hit social media which caused a lot of people to throw shades at him but Dingaan Khumalo will not give up now.

However, Dingaan Khumalo has been accused by Mzansi that he is switching to music because he is currently undergoing a midlife crisis. As this is not the first time Dingaan is facing this backlash, he still pressed on to make it big in MZansi.

Dingaan Khumalo reacted to the claims of social media users who accused him of battling with a midlife crisis. He claimed he was raised in a musical family and as such, one of his passion is to become a musician one day.
