Additionally, Porter also took home the Drama Desk Award for Outstanding Actor in a Musical and the Outer Critics Circle Award for Outstanding Actor in a Musical for his performance in the part. The actor who had a career span of over two decades is also a Grammy-award-winning actor.
Porter came out as gay when he was 16 years old. He first met Adam Smith in 2009, and they got married on January 14, 2017.
