Donna Reed was an American actress. She was born on January 27, 1921, in Dennison, Iowa. Donna attended Dennison High School, then graduated from Los Angeles City College.
Donna Reed married William Tuttle in 1943, but their union ended up in divorce in 1945. Donna married Tony Owen, and they raised four kids together. They, unfortunately, divorced after 26 years of marriage. Reed married Grover Asmus, and they lived together until her death.
Donna Reed died of pancreatic cancer on January 14, 1986. She died thirteen days before her 65th birthday.

Reed signed with MGM in 1941, and made her first film debut in “The Get Away”. Reed made more appearances in films such as “ Shadow of the Thin Man, The Courtship Of Andy Hardy, Calling Dr. Gillespie, Apache Trail, Eyes In The Night, and many more.
Donna earned four Emmy Award Nominations, and also won a Golden Globe Award for her work on The Donna Reed Show, a television series that was produced by her ex-husband, Tony Owen.
