Controversial Ghanaian gospel singer and cleric, Sonnie Badu has caused a stir once again as he commands rain to fall during his concert in Abidjan, Côte d'Ivoire on Sunday, April 24, 2022.
The ‘Baba' hitmaker just as the iconic line in his song ‘let it rain' shocked the large crowd that had gathered to join him in worship as it started raining heavily during his performance.
According to the minister, for a moment he didn't know whether to continue the show or call it quits as the fans rejoiced in the heavy downpour.
“I had to make a quick decision on wheather I was staying or shutting the show! What was running through my head? LET'S DO IT !!!!! I stepped down and laid hands”, he wrote on Instagram.
Prior to the performance, Sonnie Badu sparked mixed reactions on social media after he shared a photo of a lion tattooed on his left arm. While some fans admired the tattoo, his critics argued that for a man of his calibre, he should have known that tattoos are against the word of God.
