Social media users are spreading a video of Burna Boy, a well-known Nigerian singer, reacting after losing four Grammy nominations in one night.

Remember The 66th Grammy Awards were held on Friday, February 4th at the Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles, California, according to Intel Region.

Burna Boy did not take home a single award, nor did other nominated Nigerian artists Davido, Tems, Ayra Starr, Asake, and Olamide.

Burna Boy gained four nominations for Best Melodic Rap under the category “Sitting On Top of the World.” “City Boys” (Best African Music Performance), “Alone” (Best Global Music Performance), and “I Told Them” (Best Global Music Album).

Burna Boy, a Grammy Award winner (he won Best Global Music Album at the 2021 Grammy Awards), was surprised that none of his four recent nominations resulted in a win, according to a viral video.

This means that the “Last Last” singer has only won one Grammy Award out of twelve nominations.

Burna Boy, the musician, said in a newly popular video that, despite performing at the Grammy Awards, he no longer feels like he is in real life and that everything appears like a dream.

In his words; “E be like dream to me i no know say na real life.”
