Earl Swavey, a Los Angeles rapper has been reported dead. He died at the age of 26. According to reports, he was shot and killed at a music party in South Los Angeles. News of his death was confirmed by his representative to PitchFork in an exclusive interview.
Police investigations are currently underway to unearth the identity of the perpetrator of this heinous crime.
Earl Swavey started music at a very tender age. He comes from a family of musicians. His elder who is also a musician is TDE rapper Jay Rock.
Growing up, Earl Swavey drew inspiration from top musicians such as T.I., Rick Ross, and 50 Cent. Before his death, he has worked with so many musicians such as 03 Greedo, Mozzy, SOB x RBE, Melly, just to mention a few.
In 2016, he released his first mixtape titled Gangland.
His death has come as a shock to many and Twitter is filled with tributes in his memory.
One tweet said: “RIP Earl Swavey you always showed love and you were one of the few people I met who was really making moves and connected all over, always positive energy, jokes and just a beautiful spirit”.

Autopsy reports are not yet out to tell what caused the death of Earl Swavey. However, what we can say for sure was that he was shot and killed at a party.
Moreso, what reason or motive of the shooter can’t be determined. Nonetheless, there are rumors that it could be a result of a gang feud.
