It pays to be good and every good turn they say deserves the other. Ibrahim Yekini Bakare’s good deeds years ago have paid off as his ex-students celebrates him ahead of his 43rd birthday and presented a cheque with a cash value of N300k to him. His birthday is on the 1st of January 2023 but the gifts have started coming in. It was an emotional scene as the students stepped out to present the gift.

The surprised teacher expressed so much shock as he stepped forward to receive the cheque. In his words, he said “So my ex-students gave me a pre-birthday surprise yesterday. Oh my God. This shocks me, I’m speechless. I wasn’t expecting this. I thank you all. I love you all and trust me, this is so amazing and I will never forget it. The love was so much”.
