Ernie Carrol, an Australian entertainer, author, producer and media personality has kicked the bucket today, March 30, 2022. He died at an aged care residence in Australia called Racercourse Grange Aged Care. He was 92 years old.
He was born in Geelong in the year 1929. Be attended a Broadcasting school in Melbourne.
He first worked with a commercial radio station 3TR and later with 3GL radio in Geelong.
Ernie then became a producer for a commercial tv station called GTV-9 which was located in Melbourne in 1956. He was the producer for their children's tv program called The Tarax Show.
He is widely known as the voice behind of tv puppet character, Ossie Ostrich in the Australian tv program called “Hey Hey It's Saturday”
Carrol is also the creator of the high-pitched-sound character “Joybelle”.
