Fameye has shared his view on the emergence of the lookalike stuff that is going on in the media space and how they are carrying themselves.
The artist said that he has no problem with having his lookalike. It is flattering to know that you have a fan who looks like you and loves your music.
However, he has a warning for them- “It was brought to my attention a man who resembles me a little bit. I followed him on his platform and realized he was hyping my songs, so Junior Fameye, you're doing well. Enjoy the fame, but don't do it too much” They should not cross the line.
What he said has a lot in it that the lookalikes need to decode and make meaning out of. They need not book or organize shows in the name of the original artist and perform their songs. With that it means they are not doing it too much as he asked them.
