Due to the sharp rise in the cost of life and food, singer Paul Okoye urged Nigerians to buckle up.

Nigeria is going to ”take off,” according to a post Paul made on his Instagram story.


Born on November 18, 1981, Paul Okoye, popularly known by his stage name Rudeboy, is a Nigerian singer, dancer, songwriter, performer, and record producer.

He gained prominence as one half of the P-square duo, alongside his twin brother, Peter Okoye, widely recognized as Mr. P.

Rudeboy’s rise to fame occurred during the 2000s while he was still part of the group, before they made the decision to separate and pursue their individual careers. Hailing from Ifite, Dunu in Anambra State, Nigeria, Rudeboy was born as Paul Okoye in Jos, Plateau State.

His twin brother is Peter Okoye, also known as Mr. P. Rudeboy was raised in a large family, alongside other siblings such as Jude Okoye, Tony Okoye, Mary Okoye, Ifeanyi Okoye, and Lilian Okoye. They are collectively referred to as “The Okoye Family” or “P-square Family.”

Although the family originates from Anambra State, they resided in Jos, Plateau State during the 1980s and 1990s.
