Frank Hasenfratz born in 1935 in Hungary passed away on January 8, 2022, at the age of 86. He was a billionaire business and the founder of the car parts maker Linamar.
At the time of his death, he had a company with an estimated net worth of $5billion.
Hasenfratz who was the Chief Executive of his company until his death was surrounded by his family until he breathed his last. This is according to a statement from his company.
The cause of death was cancer, the statement said.
“It was his vision and unrelenting drive that enabled us to build the company that Linamar is today,” said his daughter, Linda Hasenfratz, who has served as the company’s chief executive officer since she replaced her father in 2002.
