Seasoned Mzansi Amapiano artist and DJ, Duduzile Ngwenya, better known as Lady Du has revealed that someone has opened a fake account in her name to defraud innocent victims and warned fans to be wary.
In a recent Instagram post that has sparked concern among her fans, Lady Du revealed that some unknown person(s) have created a fake Instagram account in her name and are you using it to scam in the name of giveaways.
She shared a screenshot of an instance where one of the scammers had asked a follower to register and win an iPhone 13 pro at her (Lady Du’s) event.
“Thank you for liking my post and following me on Instagram. Congratulations! You were chosen as the best fan who will get an iPhone 13 pro at my event….”
Captioning the post, the singer wrote, “Guys someone created a fake account and is scamming people. Don’t fall for it please 😭😭😭😭“.
