her Majesty who is known as the Queen Mother was the mother of Queen Elizabeth II presently is the British sovereign. She was the wife of the late King VI.

She was born the Honourable Elizabeth Angela Marguerite Bowes-Lyon on August 4th, 1900.

4th daughter of Lord Glamis and later 14th daughter of Earl of Strathmore and Kinghorne, and the second child She was raised up at St Paul's Waldenbury in Hertfordshire in the north of London. This was the origin country of her parents.

When her Dad inherited his Earldom way back in 1904, Queen Elizabeth the II became Lady Elizabeth Bowes-Lyon.
