Kyle Joseph Schwarber, an American professional baseball outfielder for the Philadelphia Phillies of Major League Baseball, was born on March 5, 1993. (MLB).

The Chicago Cubs selected him in the first round of the 2014 MLB Draft after he played collegiate baseball for the Indiana Hoosiers. He played with the Boston Red Sox and Washington Nationals before making his MLB debut with the Cubs in 2015.

In 61 games as a sophomore in 2013, he batted.366/.456/.647 with 18 home runs and 54 RBIs. He was selected to the National Collegiate Baseball Writers Association’s first team of All-Americans (NCBWA).
