Harris is presently the first female vice president and the highest-ranking female official in the United States.
She was born on October 20, 1964 in Oakland, California.
The 57-year-old was the attorney general of California from 2011 to 2017 and also served as a United States senator representing California from 2017 to 2021.
She graduated from Howard University and the University of California, Hastings College of the Law.
