Charles Chibueze Chukwu, better known as Crayon, a rising Nigerian singer, has given his parents a house as an early Christmas present.

Taking to Twitter, the Mavins star, who was recently trending for not visiting his parents for five years, disclosed that he can now visit them because he has moved them to a new house. He went on to say that he is happy and fulfilled because he gave himself the best Christmas gift.

He wrote on Twitter: I just moved my parents out of the trenches and into a new crib! Hallelujah! My best Christmas present to myself! After 5 years, I can finally return home! I’m overjoyed! I’m satisfied! No more Lekki foods for me, Small hungry like this I don run go house go chop come back!

According to report, Crayon disclosed why he hasn’t visited his parents in the last 5 years.

Crayon claims that despite living about 30 minutes away from his parents, he did not visit them because he was too busy chasing his dreams.

“I left my parents’ house in 2017,” he wrote. I also haven’t returned since then. It’s not something I’m proud of, especially since it’s only an hour and 30 minutes to my parents’ house. But, as a dream chaser, I must make sacrifices. It is difficult for me. I really miss them”.
