“I Made History” – BBNaija’s Mike Edward Writes Despite Missing Out On Earning A Medal At The Common Wealth Games

Mike Edwards, a former housemate, created history during the current Commonwealth Games.

Even though she didn’t take home a gold, the reality star considered it an enormous honor to finally represent Nigeria and the whole African continent at the 22nd Commonwealth Games.

At the competition in Birmingham, United Kingdom, Mike Edwards competed in the men’s high jump final, leaping a height of 2.19m. At the Commonwealth Games in 2022, he placed sixth.

In honor of his accomplishment, Edward posted a video of the occasion and wrote:

WHAT AN HONOR TO FINALLY REPRESENT NIGERIA AND THE ENTIRE AFRICAN CONTINENT AT THE COMMONWEALTH GAMES 6TH IN THE FINAL AND SO MANY EMOTIONS TO PUT IN WORDS. THANK YOU ALL FOR TAKING THIS JOURNEY WITH ME SEASON ‘22 #JOBFINISHED ”
