Released on August 12, 2013, Burna Boy’s first studio album, L.I.F.E., was his follow-up to his second mixtape, Burn Identity (2011). On the day of its release, 40,000 copies of the record were sold. Subsequently, Aristokrat Records paid ₦10 million to Uba Pacific for the marketing rights.
