Burna Boy, a popular Afrobeats singer, has lashed out at fans who mocked him after he arrived 8 hours late for his gig in Lagos.
According to reports, the artist arrived at 3 a.m. for his 7 p.m. performance.
When he eventually arrived, fans who had been waiting for him for hours started booing at him in mockery.
The Grammy Award-winning musician, however, appeared to be enraged by this as he denounced all they had done to him the year before.
He cited their accusations that he had shot someone at the Cubana Club and that his mother had performed for Fela Kuti.
The Odogwu crooner went on to claim that despite of what they had said about him in the past, he had still turned up for the show; he closed by playfully telling fans, ‘na God go punish una'.

Burna Boy is the stage name of Damini Ebunoluwa Ogulu MFR, a Nigerian singer, composer, and record producer. After releasing “Like to Party,” the main song off his debut studio album, L.I.F.E., in 2012, he became famous.
