Cassper Nyovest has revealed he is delaying the release of his anticipated new album, Solomon, which was initially due to go on sale on July 28.

The rapper apologized and promised to quickly announce the new release date after fans expressed how eager they were to hear the new track.

“I’m sorry y’all. The positive news is that all is now fixed and we will have a new date and single in the next week,” he wrote on his Twitter timeline.

This follows Cassper’s recent assurance to his followers that everything was in order.

“I’ll be updating you about the album soon. Don’t be worried about my silence, all is in control. Big love.”

In the second year of Sprite’s international music initiative, Sprite Limelight, Cassper released a joint effort with Ryan Tedder of OneRepublic.

Fans may enjoy some new music as they wait to hear the album, which Cassper has indicated could be his best work to date.

“I’m proud to be part of the Sprite Limelight programme 2023, representing African music, representing our sound, our culture, and expressing myself in this new way collaborating with the legend that is Ryan Tedder — always much love for him.

I know that feeling when the heat hits, the pressures of life feel like they are on, we all feel it. Music helps me tackle that, to keep cool, so I just really connected with the whole concept of the Sprite Limelight programme. It’s dope to be a part of it all,” Cassper said.
