
Colin Hanks is an American actor, director, and producer who was born on November 24, 1977, in Sacramento, California, United States.
Colin attended Sacramento Country Day School and eventually enrolled at Chapman University but soon transferred to Loyola Marymount University where he dropped out as time went by.
He subsequently began a career in acting and made his big-screen debut in the 1996 “That Thing You Do!,” which was written and directed by his father.
Colin has since gone on to appear in more than 50 film and television projects, including “Roswell”, “Orange County”, “The House Bunny”, “The Good Guys”, “Dexter”, and “Life in Pieces”.
The actor has also directed two documentaries notably the 2015 “All Things Must Pass: The Rise and Fall of Tower Records” and “Eagles of Death Metal: Nos Amis (Our Friends)” which broadcast in 2017.
