Errol Spencer Jr is a professional American boxer who was born on March 3, 1990, in Long Island, New York, United States.
He has won at the 2012 Olympics, three consecutive United States National Championships where he represented the United States as an amateur in the welterweight division.
He has held the IBF title since 2017 and the WBC title since 2019, he is now a unified welterweight world championship.
On October 10, 2019, Spence was involved in a car crash at dawn in his hometown Dallas, Texas, and was admitted to the hospital.
The reason for the accident was that he was driving at a high rate of speed and went off the highway, flipped multiple times then the driver was ejected as a result of not having a seatbelt on. It appears that the professional boxer was drunk.
Spence is the father of two daughters and a son but it is not known whether he is married to the mother of his kids or not.
