Julian McMahon is an Australian Actor. Julian was born in Sydney, Australia on July 27, 1968, to Australian politician Sir William McMahon and socialist Lady McMahon. Julian attended Sydney Grammar School. When Julian was a boy wanted to be a Rugby player and an army cadet. For a brief moment, Julian McMahon studied Law at the University of Sydney.
He also tried his hand at obtaining a degree in economics from the University of Wollongong. Julian soon discovered he had no interest in the above-mentioned university programs and as such he dropped out and moved abroad to pursue a career in modeling. Julian landed his first Television role as Ben Lucini in the Australian soap opera Home and Away when he returned home to Australia to bury his father.
Julian has subsequently played various characters in a lot of different drama series. His most prominent roles include playing Doctor Doom in the Fantastic Four movie franchise as well as playing Christian Troy in the American medical drama Nip/Tuck (A role which he played for well over 7 years).
