Katharine Juliet Ross is an American film, stage, and television actress who was born on January 29, 1940 in Los Angeles, California, United States.
In 1957, Ross graduated from Las Lomas High School and later enrolled at Santa Rosa Junior College, where she studied for just a year.
She was introduced to acting via the production of The King and I while in college but dropped out of the course and relocated to San Francisco in order to study acting.
Over there, She joined The Actors Workshop and started appearing in theatrical productions.
Ross made her film debut in the 1965 Civil War-themed drama Shenandoah before proceeding to play supporting parts in the 1965 Mister Buddwing, and The Singing Nun in 1966.
She was cast in Curtis Harrington's thriller Games in 1967.
