Is Lauren Lake a real judge?

American family lawyer, judge on television, and host of talk shows Lauren Laniece Lake was born on July 12, 1969. On a variety of talk shows and reality legal programs, Lake has worked in the roles of news anchor and guest host.

Lake has covered contentious racial, ethnic, political, and gender themes in a large portion of her guest hosting. She starred as “Spice Up My Kitchen’s” host on HGTV.

Lake was born in Detroit, Michigan to parents who had “quite precise aspirations” for their daughter’s future, according to Lake. She started her legal career as a criminal defense lawyer in June 1995 after being admitted to the Michigan State Bar.

Lake graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in English in May 1990 from the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor, Michigan. The same year, she received her qualification as a secondary teacher. Lake graduated with a Juris Doctor from Wayne State University Law School in Detroit, Michigan, in May 1993.

Is Lauren Lake a real judge?

Although Lauren Lake appears on the show wearing a judge’s robe, she is not a true judge. She is a specialist in relationships in addition to being a licensed attorney and legal analyst, making her the ideal television judge for Paternity Court cases.
