Letitia Michelle Wright, a British actress, was born in Guyana on October 31, 1993. She made her acting debut on a variety of shows, including Doctor Who, Top Boy, Coming Up, Chasing Shadows, Humans, and Black Mirror. She was nominated for a Primetime Emmy for the latter achievement.
For her role as Shuri in the MCU blockbuster Black Panther, for which she gained international recognition, she won an NAACP Image Award and a SAG Award in 2018. She has appeared in Avengers: Infinity War (2018), Black Panther: Wakanda Forever (2019), and Avengers: Endgame (2019).
Although Wright had performed in school plays, the 2006 movie Akeelah and the Bee gave her the motivation to take acting more seriously.
She was inspired by Keke Palmer's portrayal and remarked that it resonated because it gave her “so much hope.” She joined the Identity School of Acting at the age of 16.
Is Letitia Wright A Lesbian?
The unambiguous answer to the aforementioned question is, “NO.” To be clear, Letitia Wright does not identify as a lesbian and is straight.
Wright's real-life sexual orientation was rumoured to be a lesbian following her appearance in the Russell T. Davies miniseries Banana.
This is a follow-up to the sly Cucumber. In this play, Wright plays the part of Vivienne Scott, a troubled and inexperienced young lesbian with a lot of potentials.
