Raymond Albert Kroc was born on October 5, 1902, in Oak Park, Illinois, near Chicago. He was an American businessman who is professionally known as Ray Kroc.

Ray Kroc is attributed to the global growth of McDonald’s, turning it into the most flourishing fast food corporation in the world.

He owned the San Diego Padres of Major League Baseball after resigning from McDonald’s.

Ray Kroc lied about his age and became a Red Cross ambulance driver at the age of 15, alongside Walt Disney.

Kroc earned the Golden Plate Award from the American Academy of Achievement in 1973.

In 1972, Ray Kroc gave $255,000 to Richard Nixon’s reelection campaign and was controversially charged by some, notably Senator Harrison Williams, of giving to impact Nixon to veto a bill bringing its way through Congress.

On January 14, 1984, at the age of 81, Ray Kroc died of heart failure. He was consigned to the grave at the El Camino Memorial Park in Sorrento Valley, San Diego.

In 1919, Ray Kroc has been married three times. He has only one daughter named Marilynn.
