Tim Cook, an American businessman and engineer, was born Timothy D. Cook on November 1, 1960, in the small Alabaman town of Robertsdale. Since August 2011, Cook has led Apple as its CEO.

Cook, the CEO of Apple, graduated from Auburn University with a bachelor’s in industrial engineering and the Fuqua School of Business at Duke University with an MBA.
Cook worked with IBM, Intelligent Electronics, and Compaq for 12 years before joining Apple in 1998. Cook was chosen to replace Steve Jobs as Apple’s CEO in August 2011.

During the 2008 presidential campaign, he made a contribution to Barack Obama’s first White House campaign.
In 2021, Cook was listed as one of the 100 most influential people in the world on the Time 100 list.
Cook enjoys exercising and enjoys going on hikes, bike rides, and to the gym.
